Kwesi Davis

Program Director
 

Kwesi Davis graduated from the Ivy League institution Brown University in 1998 with a BA in Electrical Engineering and earned a Masters in Film & Television from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2004. He has worked as a software developer in the video game, commercial effects and feature animation industries. He spent 15 years working with DreamWorks Animation before leaving his role, as Tech Lead, to pursue tech education and enrichment opportunities for underrepresented communities. He was recently recognized, by DreamWorks Animation, for contributions to the design and engineering of the Premo Character Animation System; which received an Academy of Motion Picture Art and Sciences Technical Achievement Award in 2018.

Brittany McDaniel

Brittany is a recent Graduate from the University of La Verne. She was a student athlete and because of this, she was able to develop many skills. These skills have had a positive effect on her major. Her major is Computer Science Engineering with a concentration in Internet Programming. Brittany received her Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and Computer Engineering. She also received a Certificate for Website and Internet Development. She not only has application development skills but also social skills. She’s able to work with diverse groups of people. Being part of a team has helped her acquire many skills: teamwork, paying attention to detail, and multitasking.

 

Richard Rodriguez

Richard Rodriguez is a first generation graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara where he majored in Computer Engineering. He has worked on various projects involving computer networking, machine learning, android app development, and data processing. He currently works as a Business Analyst at a financial technology company and is a teacher at Algorithm & Flow.

 

Michael Hau

Coding Instructor
 

Michael Hau graduated from University of California Santa Barbara in 2021 with a B.S in Computer Engineering. He has worked on an award-winning software design in the realm of ophthalmological surgery automation for Alcon True Vision as a software developer. He is currently exploring opportunities in the field of distributed systems and more generally software engineering.
